SB 314 -- TOWING OF MOTOR VEHICLES

SPONSOR:  Dolan (Dempsey)

COMMITTEE ACTION:  Voted "do pass by consent" by the Committee on
Transportation and Motor Vehicles by a vote of 19 to 0.

This bill repeals a duplicate section regarding the towing of
motor vehicles from private property.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say the bill deletes duplicate sections
of statute relating to vehicles left unattended on private
property.

Testifying for the bill were Senator Dolan; and Towing and
Recovery Association of Missouri.

OPPONENTS:  There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
